Spicy Barbeque Sauce


Spicy Barbecue Sauce recipe is easy to make and can be used with any meat; particularly with ribs.



Ingredients

1 pint vinegar
2 cups Ketchup
8 Tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 Tablespoon cayenne pepper
1 Tablespoon mustard powder
1 Tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons sea salt
½ teaspoon black pepper

Directions

In a small bowl mix all the ingredients together well.



HomemadeTomato Sauce

Tomato Sauce

A delicious crock pot "Homemade Tomato Sauce" that tastes fresh from the farm. Great use for those almost turned tomatoes.

Ingredients
2 onions, minced
¼ cup tomato paste
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus extra as needed
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried
½ cup dry red wine
¼ cup Minute tapioca
2 bay leaves
7 pounds tomatoes (about 14 large)
¼ cup minced fresh basil
Sea Salt and pepper
Directions
Microwave onions, tomato paste, oil, garlic, and oregano in bowl, stirring occasionally, until onions are softened, about 5 minutes; transfer to slow cooker.
Stir wine, tapioca, and bay leaves into slow cooker.
Core and peel tomatoes, then transfer to slow cooker. Cover and cook until tomatoes are very soft and beginning to disintegrate, 9 to 11 hours on low or 5 to 7 hours on high.
Discard bay leaves. Mash tomatoes until mostly smooth with potato masher. Transfer sauce mixture to large Dutch over and simmer over medium-high heat until thickened, about 20 minutes.
Before serving, stir in basil and season with sea salt, pepper, and additional extra-virgin olive oil to taste.


Basic White Sauce


I have used this Basic White Sauce recipe for many years (about 30) and I learned how to make it from my Grandmother, so it's been our family for a long time. It can be used as a base for lots of dishes.


Ingredients

1 Tablespoon butter
1 Tablespoon flour
½ teaspoon sea salt
1 cup milk

Directions

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

Add flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined.

Pour in milk, stirring constantly as it thickens.

Add more milk depending on desired consistency.

Serve



Egg Sauce for Fish


This Egg Sauce for Fish recipe is simple and delicious with lots of fish and seafood.


Ingredients

2 chopped hard boiled eggs
1 Tablespoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar

Directions

After removing the white sauce from the heat;

Mix all the ingredients together well and chill for 1 to 2 hours.


Serve

Cranberry Jelly


This Cranberry Jelly is out of this world good. Wheat toast with peanut butter and this cranberry jelly... DELICIOUS!


Ingredients

4 cups cranberries
1 cup cold water
1 ½ cups white sugar

Directions

Remove bad berries and wash with cold water.

Place the berries in a medium sauce pan and add cold water.

Bring to a boil and simmer until the cranberries burst.

Add sugar and cook until the mixture is clear.

Pour into a small bowl or jar.

Chill for 2-4 hours.

Serve.

Drawn-Butter Sauce


Drawn-Butter Sauce is often served as a dipping sauce for shellfish, especially lobster.



Ingredients

½ cup butter
4 Tablespoon flour
1 pint boiling water
½  teaspoon lemon juice
½  teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon sea salt

Directions

In a sauce pan melt half the butter using a medium heat.

Then add the flour and garlic, mix until there is no dry flour.

Slowly add the boiling hot water, while stirring constantly until the sauce comes to a boil.

Just before serving, add sea salt and the remaining butter in small bits.

Beating constantly until the butter is full combined with the sauce and smooth.

Serve.

Spicy Cocktail Sauce


 Spicy Cocktail Sauce is a tangy condiment kicked-up a few notches goes great with shrimp cocktail, breaded or coconut shrimp and even oysters; just a delicious sauce that goes great with seafood!


Ingredients

1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon chopped chives
1 teaspoon melted butter
2 Tablespoons vinegar
¼ teaspoon Louisiana Hot sauce or Tabaso sauce
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon horseradish
½ cup catsup
¼ cup finely chopped celery

Directions

Mix all the ingredients together well and chill for 1 to 2 hours.

Serve.

Cranberry Salad Dressing


This Cranberry Salad Dressing recipe is easy to make and it can be use as a garnish, sauce, dip or salad dressing and it is sure to add the perfect touch to your holiday meal.






INGREDIENTS

9 Tablespoons olive oil
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon sea salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper
Dash of paprika
6 Tablespoons cranberry sauce

DIRECTIONS

In a bowl mix together oil, juice, salt, pepper, and paprika vigorously.
Then add cranberry sauce and mix well.

The Best Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce




The Best Honey Mustard Dipping Sauce is great to use when making salads, sandwich, sauces, dips and dressings the perfect amount of sweetness to chicken, burgers, fries and more. Plus it's simply delicious and easy to make.


Ingredients

1 cup Kraft Mayo
4 tablespoons French's Yellow Mustard
2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Directions

Combine Kraft Mayo, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey and lemon juice in a small bowl. 
 
Whisk until well blended. 
 
Let to sit overnight in the refrigerator.  

You can use immediately, but the flavors meld overnight and become a fantastic creation!
