Old Fashion Macaroni & Cheese

Macaroni & Cheese

Your family won’t stop asking for you to make their newly founded favorite dish of macaroni and cheese now! 



INGREDIENTS

2 cups macaroni
3 ½ cups milk
½ cup beer
1 teaspoon sea salt
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
4 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons butter

DIRECTIONS

Cook macaroni in boiling salt water 20 minutes.

Let the macaroni drain.
Mix together the sea salt, flour and cheese in a large bowl.
Butter a large baking dish.
Place a thin layer of macaroni in the bottom of the baking dish.
Cover the macaroni with a layer of the cheese mixture.
Repeat layers until the macaroni is about ½ inch away from the top of the baking dish. The last layer is the cheese mixture.
In a large bowl add milk and beer; mix well and pour over macaroni until it covers the top layer.
Bake 35 minute at 325 degrees.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake for another 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Serve hot.





Best Baked Sweet Potato Fries


The "Best Baked Sweet Potato Fries" are Yummy! Easy to make & cheaper than buying sweet potato fries at the store.



INGREDIENTS:

1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon(s) sea salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground red pepper
1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
2 large (about 1 1/2 pounds) sweet potatoes

DIRECTIONS

Prepare the sweet potatoes: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, sea salt, and pepper. 

Set aside.


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 


Peel potatoes, cut each in half lengthwise, and cut each half into 6 wedges. 


In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes, oil, and spice mixture. 


Toss until potatoes are evenly coated.


Bake the fries: 


On a baking sheet, arrange potatoes in a single layer and place on the middle shelf of the oven. 


Bake at 425 degrees F 10 minutes then lower temp. to 400 degrees F.


Bake until edges are crisp and potatoes are cooked through -- about 15 minutes. 


Serve immediately.





Easy Spicy Bruschetta


This bruschetta  is packed with plenty of fresh flavors and  has a hint of heat.


Ingredients


1 1/2 cups chopped tomatoes,  seeded
2/3 red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon course ground black pepper
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 dashes of Louisiana Hot Sauce
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
2 large jalapenos seeded, minced
1  loaf French bread, cut into quarter inch slices
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, finely grated

Directions

In a small bowl whisk or oil, vinegar's and Louisiana Hot Sauce.

Add parsley, basil, black pepper, salt, jalapenos, onions, and tomatoes; mix well and set aside.

Place bread slices on in a greased pan.

Place bread in broiler, about 4 inches away from heat.

Could about 2 minutes or until golden brown.

With a slotted spoon top each slice of bread with bruschetta.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve.

Note: when handling jalapeno's you should wear gloves and wash hands thoroughly.
