British Chunky Chips


Now you don't have to go to Paris to indulge in a classic treat...This “British Chunky Chips” recipe is melt in your mouth good!

Ingredients



3 large baking potatoes, sliced into chunky chips
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 sea salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Directions 



Heat oven to 400F. 

Arrange the chips on a baking tray, drizzle with the oil and season. 

Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden, turning halfway through.

Sereve.

North Carolina Barbecue Wings

The combination "North Carolina Barbecue Wings" is sweet and tangy flavors brings out the absolute best in grilled or smoked pork or poultry.


Ingredients
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon liquid smoke (hickory flavoring)


Directions 

Sauce

Melt butter in a medium sauce pan,

Add all the ingredients.

Mix well.

Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat. 

Simmer for 18 minutes until thickened.

Let cool.

Grilling

Combine marinade ingredients in a large mixing bowl. 

Add wings, toss to coat. 

Cover with plastic wrap and allow to marinate in refrigerator for 4-8 hours.

Preheat grill for high heat.

Place wings on grill. 

Cook for 5 minutes per side.  

Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for additional 20-25 minutes. 

Baste wings with remaining marinade during first half of cook time. 

Grill wings for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally. 

When done, remove from grill and serve immediately.



Kansas City Spicy BBQ Wings



This traditional "Kansas City Spicy BBQ Wings" is a thick sweet sauce with a touch of heat to give it a little kick. Easy barbecue wings recipe. 



Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cayenne



Directions 

Sauce

Heat oil in a saucepan. 

Add garlic and sauté until brown. 

Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat. 

Simmer for 18 minutes until thickened.

Let cool.

This traditional Spicy Kansas City BBQ Wings is a thick sweet sauce with a touch of heat to give it a little kick made in the crock pot.



Ingredients
3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup vinegar
2/3 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon cayenne


Directions for Sauce

Heat oil in a saucepan. 

Add garlic and sauté until brown. 

Add remaining ingredients and reduce heat. 

Simmer for 18 minutes until thickened.

Directions for Crock Pot

Cut off and discard chicken wing tips. 

Cut each wing into 2 parts and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Pour the half the Kansas City BBQ Sauce over wings and mix well.
Place wings in crock pot and pour what left of the Kansas City BBQ Sauce evenly over all wings. 

Cook 6 - 8 hours on low. 


Carolina Style Barbecue Wings


 The combination of slow cooking in the crock pot, honey, garlic, and ginger make these wings are delicious; a great appetizer or meal!  


Ingredients:
3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup prepared yellow mustard
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon white pepper
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon liquid smoke (hickory flavoring)


Directions

Sauce

Mix all except soy, butter and smoke. 

Simmer 30 minutes. 

Stir in remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 more minutes.

Remove from heat and let cool to touch. 


Crock Pot:
Cut off and discard chicken wing tips. 

Cut each wing into 2 parts and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Pour the half the Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce over wings and mix well.
Place wings in crock pot and pour what left of the Carolina Style Barbecue Sauce evenly over all wings. 

Cook 6 - 8 hours on low. 



Easy Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wings


If you've ever eaten jerk pork then you'll love this "Easy Caribbean Jerk Chicken Wings" recipe that calls for all the fixings for a hot and spicy summer barbecue.



Ingredients

1 dozen split chicken wings
2 tablespoons dried minced onion
2 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil


Directions


Rise chicken wings with cold water and pat dry.

In a small bowl, stir together the dried onion, thyme, allspice, ground black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt.

Coat the chicken wings lightly with oil, then rub seasoning onto meat.


Pour them into your foil pack
 fold end of foil pack shut.

Top with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

Grill over medium-high heat, turning often, 25-30 minutes.

Baked Crab & Artichoke Dip


Nothing says, “this party rocks” Baked Crab & Artichoke Dip, and when you’re talking about a hot crab and artichoke dip, people have been known to put an extra choice word or two before “rocks.”


Ingredients: 


2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup finely diced red bell pepper
1/3 cup chopped green onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp fresh chopped tarragon leaves
zest and juice from 1 lemon
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Sea salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 1/2 pounds lump crab meat, drained
1 (14-oz) can artichoke bottoms
6 oz white Cheddar cheese, divided
1 large round or oval loaf sourdough bread

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 

Line a baking dish with aluminum foil.
Combine ingredients in a large bowl; season with sea salt and black pepper.
Cut the top 1/3 off the loaf of sourdough bread and discard. 

Remove the bread filling and discard, leaving just the crust. 
Place in the prepared baking dish.

Transfer artichoke mixture to the prepared bread bowl; top with 2 tablespoons Cheddar cheese and cayenne pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven until dip is warmed and top is golden brown, about 30 minutes.





Tex-Mex 7-Layer Dip


This "Tex-Mex 7-Layer Dip" recipe is super easy to make, colorful, and just taste great. Perfect for any casual party!


Ingredients

Makes: 12 serving

2 (16-oz.) can refried beans
1 cup tomato salsa
2 cup guacamole dip
2/3 cup non-fat Sour Cream or Greek-style yogurt
2/3 cup shredded Jack or Cheddar cheese
4 tablespoons chopped black olives
4 tablespoons chopped scallions

Directions:

Set aside 1 tablespoon each of scallions, olives, salsa and cheese. 

In a large glass bowl, layer, in order: beans, olives, onions, sour cream or yogurt, salsa, cheese and guacamole. 

Garnish with reserved olives, scallions, salsa and cheese.


Avocado Corn Salsa


It doesn't get much more Mexican than "Avocado Corn Salsa"... just try it and tell me you don’t want to eat it by the bowl full. I dare you! 


Ingredients


2 medium size front of a car does, finely chopped 
1 cup cooked frozen corn 
2 medium tomatoes, seated and finely chopped 
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro 
3 tablespoons lime juice 
1 teaspoon hot green chili peppers 
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
2 cloves garlic, roasted and minced

Directions


Roast garlic.

Cook corn thoroughly.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, mix well.

Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Best Baked Sweet Potato Fries


The "Best Baked Sweet Potato Fries" are Yummy! Easy to make & cheaper than buying sweet potato fries at the store.



INGREDIENTS:

1/2 teaspoon(s) ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon(s) sea salt
1/4 teaspoon(s) ground red pepper
1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
2 large (about 1 1/2 pounds) sweet potatoes

DIRECTIONS

Prepare the sweet potatoes: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, sea salt, and pepper. 

Set aside.


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 


Peel potatoes, cut each in half lengthwise, and cut each half into 6 wedges. 


In a large bowl, combine the cut potatoes, oil, and spice mixture. 


Toss until potatoes are evenly coated.


Bake the fries: 


On a baking sheet, arrange potatoes in a single layer and place on the middle shelf of the oven. 


Bake at 425 degrees F 10 minutes then lower temp. to 400 degrees F.


Bake until edges are crisp and potatoes are cooked through -- about 15 minutes. 


Serve immediately.
