Golden Apple Pie Syrup





Apple Pie Syrup

Tired of paying high dollar for a Apple Pie Latte or Apple Pie Coffee at Dunkin Donuts?  "Golden Apple Pie Syrup" can be use to flavor coffee, cocktails or Sangria's and top: ice cream, pancakes, waffles, and desserts. Plus it's absolutely delicious and easy to make!


Ingredients

2 oz. Apple Extract
1 (16.5 oz.) Torani Caramel Sauce
1/3 cup Mrs. Butterworth's Syrup
1 teaspoon allspice; powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon; powder
1 teaspoons nutmeg; powder


Directions

In a large measuring cup add all the ingredients.

Mix until all the ingredients are blended.

Pour the mixture back into the bottle and it is ready to use.

Spicy Werewolf Kabobs


This grilled fiery "Spicy Werewolf Kabobs" goes great with fresh pitas, chopped onion, and sour cream to temper the black magic heat!



Ingredients


1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 1/2
-inch cubes
10 wooden skewers, soaked in water for 1 hour
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons beef bouillon granules
2 tablespoons water
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper



Directions

Dissolve bouillon in water. 

Stir in the garlic, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. 

Toss the meat in the marinade, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Preheat a grill for high heat.

Skewer the beef cubes, using 6 to 8 pieces per skewer. Pour the oil onto a plate, and roll the skewers in it to coat them on all sides.

Grill the skewers, turning frequently, until the beef has turned light pink, 12 to 15 minutes.







Troll Stew



Easy to make and the taste is fantastic. If you're going to busy all day and don't have the time to slave over a stove when you come home "Troll Stew" is the way to go.


Ingredients

3 pounds boneless chuck roast; cut into 1x1-inch pieces or smaller
2 Tablespoons flour
2 Tablespoons chili powder
1 medium red onion; finely chopped
1/4 cup celery stalk; chopped
1/4 cup frozen peas
2 Tablespoons fresh garlic; minced
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup frozen corn
1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans
1 can (15 oz.) black beans
1/4 cup of our Kansas City BBQ Sauce
1 large jar Old El Paso Thick & Chunky Salsa
1 cup Kraft Triple Cheddar Shredded Cheese
1/4 cup Pacific Beef Broth
Seas Salt to taste


Directions

Season beef chunks with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet brown the meat; add to crock pot.

Sprinkle with the flour and chili powder; mix until the meat is evenly coated.

Add the rest of the ingredients except the cheese and stir.

Cover with lid cook on low 6-8 hour or on high 4-6 hours.

Serve in bowls topped with cheese.






Delicious Vampire's Kiss

Ingredients

1 1/2 ounce Vodka
1/2 ounce Pama Liqueur

Instructions
    Fill cocktail shaker with ice and add Vodka and Pama Liqueur.

    Shake well and strain into a martini glass.

    Ingredients


    1 bottle Smirnoff® Ice
    1 bottle Bacardi Breezer® Orange
    1 bottle WKD® Original Vodka Blue
    0.5 oz. Triple Sec

    Directions


    Pour all the ingredients into a large picture.

    Mix, and the drink should turn green. 

    Add ice as desired, and serve.


    Twisted Black Crow


    The most popular cocktail I make is the "Twisted Black Crow" it is a delicious combination of dark rum, schnapps, ice cream, chocolate and root beer. An awesome cocktail that you most definitely have to try.


    Serves Six

    Ingredients


    12 scoops vanilla ice cream
    60 oz root beer
    6 tbsp chocolate syrup
    8 oz Mount Gay dark rum
    6 oz Vanilla Schnapps
    9 oz whipped cream
    maraschino cherries

    Directions


    Pour root beer, rum and schnapps into a large picture and gentally mix together.

    Then pour root beer mixture over 2 scoops of ice cream in a large tumbler glass. 

    Garnish with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.

    Serve with a straw and a long spoon.


    Bloody Cosmopolitan


    Enjoy this fast-n-delicious "Bloody Cosmopolitan" recipe is perfect for any Halloween Party.


    Ingredients


    1 cup plus tablespoons pomegranate juice
    3/4 cup Absolut vodka
    1/3 cup TripleSec orange-flavored liqueur
    1/3 cup fresh lime juice
    2 tablespoons simple syrup
    1 cup small ice cubes or shaved ice


    Direction

    Place ice in martini shaker or pitcher. 


    Add enough pomegranate juice mixture to fill shaker. 


    Shake or stir until blended. 


    Pour into chilled stemmed glasses, straining out ice. 


    Garnish with pomegranate seeds.







    Bloody Sangria


    This Quick & Easy "Bloody Sangria" recipes offers a delicious aroma of fresh red cherries and sweet vanilla with a light herbal touch that is hands down the best sangria I have ever had!


    INGREDIENTS

    1 750ml Bottle of Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon 
    1 cup (8 oz) DeKuyper® Wilderberry schnapps
    1 cup (8 oz) Cranberry juice 
    1 cup (8 oz) Orange juice 1oz
    8 Maraschino cherries
    1/2 cup blackberries
    2 large Blood Oranges
    1 Lime wedge
    2 cups Strawberries


    DIRECTIONS

    Pour wine, schnapps, Cranberry juice, and Blood Orange juice to a large container and mix well. 

    Cut orange and lime in half then thinly slice into wedges.


    Put all the orange and lime wedges into the container with the wine mixture.


    Rise strawberries and blackberries; (cut tops off the strawberries) and put them both into the container with the wine mixture. 


    Refrigerate for no less than two hours; overnight produces a better flavor.


    Fill glass with ice and pour mixture over the ice.


    Garnish with a cherry on top and server.





    Witches Brew


    You'll love making Witches Brew. They are the perfect alternative to the root beer float. They taste great and your kids will love them!


    Ingredients


    1/2 cup orange soda, cold
    1/2 cup club soda, cold
    2 oz. orange juice
    1/4 cup International Delight® French Vanilla, chilled
    1 scoop vanilla ice cream    

    Directions

    Combine the orange soda, club soda, orange juice and International Delight French Vanilla in a tall glass. 

    Top with ice cream and serve immediately.

    Baked Stuffed Witches Nose



    The rich and creamy combination of spices and cheddar cheese nicely contrasts the muted spice of baked  jalapeno peppers.


    Ingredients


    12 jalapenos remove the stems (tops) 
    2 tablespoons olive oil
    1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt 
    1/4 teaspoon ground garlic
    1/4 teaspoon coriander
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    cheddar cheese, grated


    Directions


    Pre-heat oven 350 F.

    Rise jalapenos with cold water and dry. 

    Remove the stems (tops) from jalapenos.

    Scrape out the seeds and stuff with cheddar cheese.

    Place the jalapenos in a large bowl add olive oil, sea salt, ground garlic, black pepper and coriander and toss until all of them are covered with the seasonings and oil.

    Pour them into your foil pack fold end of foil pack shut.

    Bake 10-15 minutes. 

    Remove and serve.






    Eyeball Poppers


    Crunchy, poppable potato balls that when you take a bite the center looks like an eyeball. Seriously, your guest will get a kick out of "Eyeball Poppers"


    Ingredients

    1 package Betty Crocker Instant Potatoes; cooked and cooled
    1/4 cup all purpose flour
    1/4 teaspoon white or black pepper
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    2 eggs; beaten
    1 cup bread crumbs
    1 (8 oz.) can black olives

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

    Combine potatoes, eggs, pepper, garlic, and flour; mix until blended.

    Take one whole olive and mold into the center of a ball of the potato mixture; using about 2 tablespoons for each ball should make about 24 eyeballs.

    Pour the bread crumbs into a bowl.

    Roll the potato ball in the bread crumbs.

    Coat a large baking dish with cooking spray.

    Place the balls in the baking dish and spray with cooking spray.

    Bake 15-18 minutes.

    Serve.







    Pumpkin Pineapple Cheddar Cheese Ball



    Great for any holiday and the "Pineapple Cheddar Cheese Ball" will have your guest talking about it long after the holiday.

    Ingredients

    1 (8 oz.) package Philadelphia Cream Cheese
    1 (8 oz.) can Doles Sliced Pineapple
    1 celery stalk with
    1 package of Shredded Cheddar Cheese


    Optional orange or red bell pepper cut into Jack-o-lanter’s eyes, nose and mouth. Press eyes, nose and mouth to make the face.

    Directions


    Drain pineapple.

    In a mixer bowl add pineapple and cream cheese and beat until well blended.

    Cover and refrigerate 1 hour.

    Shape cream cheese mixture into a ball; roll in cheddar cheese and place on a platter.

    Cut celery stalk so that it is two inches long; insert into the center of the cheese ball.

    Serve with crackers.





    Cajun Pumpkin Seeds

    Pumpkin Seeds

    Add a touch of spice to your holidays with this awesome recipe for "Cajun Pumpkin Seeds".


    Ingredients

    2 cups pumpkin seeds; rinsed and airdried
    1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
    1 Tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
    1 teaspoon sea salt; if Cajun Seasoning was made without sea salt

    Directions

    Oven:

    Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium-size bowl, toss seeds in oil to coat.

    Spread on a rimmed baking sheet and sprinkle with 
    salt. 

    Bake about 10-15 minutes and stir.

    Bake 5-6 minutes longer, or until lightly toasted.

    Transfer to a large shallow plate to cool before serving.

    Stovetop:


    Warm a large skillet over medium heat.

    Add oil, then seeds, and stir well to coat.

    Spread mixture in an even layer; stir often until seeds are lightly toasted.

    Season with salt.

    Transfer to a large shallow plate to cool before serving.








    Cinnamon Apple Upside-Down Cake





    Bake a classic dessert! Buttery rich and the Cinnamon and Apples make this yellow cake flavorful and delicious.


    Ingredients

    1 Betty Crocker Super Moist Butter Yellow Cake Mix
    2/3 cup packed brown sugar
    3 ripe Granny Smith apples
    Cinnamon
    ¼ cup margarine (not butter, you need the moisture)


    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    In 9-inch square pan, melt butter in oven.

    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over melted butter.

    Sprinkle cinnamon over the brown sugar.

    Peel, remove core, and slice apples (thickness ¼).

    Arrange apples over brown sugar.

    In medium bowl, mix the cake batter according to the directions on the box.

    Pour batter over apples.

    Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Immediately place heatproof serving plate upside down over pan; turn plate and pan over.

    Leave pan over cake a few minutes so brown sugar mixture can drizzle over cake; remove pan.

    Serve warm.

    Store cake loosely covered.
